Who and what we are
The Indian Institute of Technology – Alumni Association UK (previously known as IIT London Chapter- IITLC ) is a pan – IIT group representing Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) alumni resident in UK, The idea was originally initiated by a small group of IITians resident in London and held its first general meeting towards the end of 2002. It now serves as a focal point for alumni from all the IITs living in the UK.

What is IIT
Established as institutes of academic excellence, IITs have become synonymous with world-class technology and engineering education in India.
Apart from the globally renowned faculty and quality of education, diversity of students in terms of socio-economic background, culture, language and religions gives a unique advantage to IITians – the ability to manage and thrive in the fast globalizing economy.
Alumni of IITs lead some of the world’s most prestigious companies, as well as non-profit organisations. It is estimated that almost half of all companies in the Silicon Valley in the USA are founded and headed by IIT alumni.

Our Aims And Objectives:

  • To provide social and professional networking opportunities for UK based IITians
